When I was still a student at KDU college, my friends and I would frequent Choy Kee for lunch for the most of the time. I would always prefer Choy Kee over Yu Yee as the food here is better. I'd always go for the chicken rice here as it is actually really good. It is much better than the one at Yu Yee. The uncle is quite generous and the Thai style chicken is something different if you want to be a little more adventurous. At the same time, the economy rice stall has a good variety of food. One of my favourite is the deep fried mushroom. I really like that I tend to try to cover my plate with them. Other than that, the pan mee is not too bad. At night this chinese coffee shop will be transformed into a mamak. Their roti canai is not bad, I have not tried anything else than that. It sure brings back memories whenever I get the chance to have lunch here.
